Cook, he urging that the directors convene a public meeting of Northern Hawke's Bay dairy companies with a view to prompting economies and better production and marketing facilities. Mr. Edgar supported the proposal and urged that steps be taken to amalgamate with the Heretaunga Company, but it was eventually decided Mr Edgar, seconding the motion of Mr. Cook, to proceed with the wider proposal.
