The death occurred et Woodville on Saturday at the great age of 88 years, of Mrs Anne Remnant, relict of the late Christopher Remnant, of Nelson. Mrs Remnant was one of the very early settlers of the colony, she having come to New Zealand in 1863. Mrs J. Grooby and Mr Alfred Remnant, both of Hastings, are children of the late Mrs Remnant
