NAPIER COURT.

THIS MORNING’S SITTING,
At the usual sitting of the Magistrate’s Court in Napier, this morning, Mr A. M. Mowlem, S.M., dealt wilt the following cases:— Driving at a dangerous speed in Hastings street, and also driving across an intersection at two great a speed were the charges alleged against A. 1. Day who pleaded guilty to the first and not guilty to the sec ond charge.—After hearing the evidence His Worship inflicted a fine of £1 on the first charge, and a fine of £2 on the second, 10s costs being made in each instance.
S. A. Parker and H. E. Robson were charged with failing to notify change of address as required under the Defence regulations and each were find 30s, court costs'los Donald Watson allowed his car to wait for more than 20 minutes as required by the By-laws, and for the over-thought cost him £l, court costs 10a. Allowing a car to stand more than 20 minutes in the one place and also having no lights on his ear were the charges preferred against F. C. Loisel, who was fined £l, costs 'os on each charge. UNLICENSED OMNIBUSSEfe W. Prujean was faced with two charges of not having had his omnibusses licensed and also one charge of driving without an omnibus license. —On the former two charges he was fined £5, costs £1 Ils each charge. In respect to the faTTcr a fine of £l, costs £1 14s was inflicted. Ada L. Morgan was also charged with running an unlicensed omnibus but the question of a penalty was held over for one week.
