LTD., Hastings-* At the meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council on Thursday the Hawke's Bay Association wrote asking for confirmation of the colours >f the association—black and white. The secretary reported that he had declined the request as the colours were those of New Zealand. In reolv to this, the Hawke’s Bay Association advised that the colours had been n use for some years. It was decided to reply that the colours 'registered for Hawke’s Bay were green, gold and red. The council had never been advised of any change, and. if Hawke's Bay desired a. change, they should apply for it. If they wanted black and white, they would have io adopt black and white stripes.
