BRITISH TRADE RETURNS.

INCREASED IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. London July 12. The Board of Trade returns for Jun© show that the value of imports have increased by £1,794,000 and exports by £5,875,000, while re-exports decreased £137,000. The principal increases were, in imports, grain and flour £2,276,000, wood and timber £1,051,000The increases in exports were coal £3,811,000, and iron and steel manufactures £1,925,000The principal decreases were, in imports coal £929,000, oils, fats £1,077,000. The principal decreases in exports were cotton yarns manufactures £1,056,000. The lead imports in June were 20,591 tons ,and exports 2,157 tons. —(A. and N.Z.)
