HON. 0. F. NELSON ARRIVES HOPES TO SEE THE PREMIER. Auckland, July 11. The Hon. 0. F. Nelson. M.L.C., Samoa, arrived in Auckland by the Tofua to-day. Interviewed, he declined to comment on the present situation in Samoa beyond saying that it was a very serious matter and that the future of a people was at stake. He hoped to see the Prime Minister aud would probably leave for Wellington in a few days. Mr. A. G. Smyth, another member of the executive of the Welfare League, is also on his way to New Zealand by a different route. Like Mr. Nelson, he received before leaving a notification from the Administrator, Sir George Richardson, that on his return circumstances might arise to cause his immediate deportation under the new provisions of tho law.
