FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS

(To the Editor). Sir, —1 was one of the many Hawke's Bay supporters who went down to Mastertoil on Saturday to witness the game again Wairarapa, and 1 cannot help but feel that the large number of Bayites present helped considerably in the victory the Bay obtained. In congratulating Hawke’s Bay generally on their win, may I draw attention to the Soccer match which is being played at Nelson Park tomorrow between the Canadians and Hawke’s Bay and ask of them their support in a similar way for this game. There is no doubt that a large attendance of enthusiasts has a great effect on the home side, and football supporters should again roll up tomorrow to cheer the team, playing a kindred sport, to victory. Yours faithfully, J. STICKLAND, bon. sec., H.B. Football Assn.
