PORT OF NAPIER.
RETURNS FOR JUNE.
The wharfage earnings during June totalled £5,108, being an increase of £473 over those for June, 1926A total of 43,602 registered tons entered the port during the month, as against 35,596 tons for the same month of last year. The returns for cargo are as follow. those for June. 1926, being shown in parenthesis:—lmports: General cargo, 8232 tons (9107); exports: general cargo 3594 tons (2403); hunker coal: 376 tons (416): wool, skins, flax and hemp, 1869 bales (98); beef, 63 tons (476); mutton. 26,599 carcases (2505); lamb. 38.305 carcases ( ). The arrivals for June were as fol-low:--Inner Harbour 30, Breakwater 12. Roadstead 4.
