SOLDIERS’ RE-UNION.
An opportunity of polishing up any of the memories that may be growing dim, and of reviving that fine spirit that animated all who have served their country in war time, will be given by the holding of an ex-service-men ’s reunion at 8 o ’clock in Hastings Assembly Hall to-morrow evening. It is no idle statement to say that it will be the best and jollicst reunion ever held in this district, and nothing has been left undone in the matter of ensuring everyone's happiness and comfort. A novel way of making every man known to every otTier guest has been devised, and at 8 o’clock the “fall in’’ will sound. A good orchestra in attendance, a fine array of talent for the concert, and an excellent hot supper, should all help to make the evening one to be remembered. Lest this should not be sufficient a toast list has been arranged that ■will ensure everyone who attends going hom c feeling a bigger and a better man. The opportunity of meeting old friends that have not been seen for ages, and of enjoying onc e again the that indefinable something that made service in tho war so jolly and comradely, will be an attraction to all that served. Every man that took part in any way in the recent war or in any other, is most cordially invited, and it is hoped that the crowd tomorrow night’ will fill the hall and will make tho rafters and every other part, of the building ring with their merriment. .
