MOTORBOAT IN TROOTV. IS. , HUNDREDS WATCH THE INCIDENT. Christchurch, July 11. Through a rope fouling the pro-, pellor a motorboat became unmanageable on the Sumner bar yesterday. She had four men aboard who made desperate signals for assistance as the sea was very rough. After a good deal of trouble the lifeboat got a towrope aboard and effected a rescue amid chctFs from the hundreds who watched the Incident.
