RETIRING ON SUPERANNUATION

Mr H. G. Sneizht. who is retirinz on superannuation, handed in his resignation of the headmastership of the Havelock North School at last night’s meeting of the school committee. Regret was expressed by Mr J. D. Heenan at the decision that Mr Speight had come to. He had been a good master, and all were sorry to lose him. Mr D. M. Millar also expressed his admiration of Mr Speight, and wished him every success in his new life and work.

Mr Speight returned his sincere thanks for the kind remarks passed.
