EAST COAST COMPETITIONS. TO-DAY’S PLAY. The East Coast bowling competitions were advanced a further stage to-day on the Hastings Club's greens. The showery , weather is entirely against play, but ft is expected to fin ish the scmi-finalsand finals this evening. The result of this morning's game waa:— Benton. Barlow. Esson. Thomas (s.) 22 v. Wright, Cosgrove; Lassoy, Maher (s.) 18. Semi-final. Wallace, Jull, Elakie. Critchley (s), 27, v. Collinge, Beeson, McKee, Tonkin (s), 13. T)ie winner of the game between Bewley and Thoma s plays Critchley in the final.
