N.Z. TEAM'S TOUR. ITINEiLAHY NEARING COMPLETION. London, September 3. The fixtures for the New Zealand cricket team’s 1927 tour are nearly otimpleted. They include Marylebohe, all the first-class counties except Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Hampshire, several minor counties, East. West, and South England, and Army. Navy, Civil Service. Wales mid probably two mutches or three in Scotland.—(A. and N.Z.) NOW OUT OF TROUBLE. H.B. CRICKET ASSOCIATION. REVIVED INTEREST MANIFESTED. Cricket, which threatened to go out of existence as tar as Hawke's Bay is concerned only last season has now through the generous assistance hy the Hawke’s Bay Rugbv Union again been placed on a good footing, the Hawke's Bay Cricket Association having been able to overcome its financial difficulties. The Hawke's Bav Rugbv Union last night was tendered by the Cricket Association its deepest appreciation of the great assistance given by the union. From the recent benefit match the nett proceeds for which were £73 19/- along with donations of supporters of the association it was now in the position to repay its debts to the union and a cheque for the amount £ll5 was received Mr. J. W. Norrie said that cricket, made good progress last season and he thought that the Rugby I nion'll assistance had been a great, benefit, 'Hie <Ti'keters all appreciated-(the assistance given. They were now out of trouble and could start afresh.
