IN BANKRUPTCY.
A NATIVE FARMER. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Aritaku Maaka, a native, dairy farmer, of Takapau, was called at Waipukurau yesterday morning, the Acting D.0.A., Mr B. Bishop, presiding. There being only two creditors present the meeting lapsed for want of a quorum. The estate showed a deficiency of £2BB 11s 3d. The bankrupt’s personal statement and list of unsecured creditors were published in the ’Tribune*’ of Thursday last (25th inst.) the secured creditors being Beckett and Cato (Takapau) £127.
