DANCING WITHOUT MUSIC.
NOVEL WIRELESS EARPHONES. London. March 27. The ghostly spectacle of dancers moving rhythmically round a ballroom without music, but with earphones, is promised bv Professor Low at a coming West End function. Professor Low states that he is sympathetic towards the non-dancers, who are disturbed by the continuous jazz music. Therefore he is carrying out an experiment, using head phones for inductive transmission. The music will be played elsewhere in the building and the transmitter will be concealed in the curtains. Inductive transmission is only possible for a short distance. The dancers will hear perfectly and-the non-dancers will not be disturbed. —(A. and N.Z.)
