SALE TO EGYPT OFF London, March 25. After Mr. Larkin’s return from Egypt a hitch occurred in the negotiations to sell to the Egyptian Government two DS and two E class Com monwealth ships, apparently owing to the competition of sellers of secondhand ships, but the negotiations were broken up.—(A. and N.Z.)
