Waipukurau Correspondent.) On Monday Waipukurau was visited by two rinks from Hastings, who played an all-day match against the local club. It was a perfect bowlers’ clay, and some fine heads were played. The visitors were entertained to luncheon by the club, and spent a very enjoyable time. Mr Parkinson, president of the Hastings Club, thanked the local bowlers for a very pleasant afternoon. He called for cheers for Waipukurau.
