GO SY DE LUXE. Laura La Plante and Eugene O’Brien, who are co-starred in -Dangerous Innocence,” Universal-Jewel production, showing for the last time at the Cosy Theatre. Hastings, have made scores of new friends for themselves and further justified the claims of their old friends that they are in the high ranks of screen stardom. The cast surrounding these two favourites is a most excellent one. while the story is one that appeals to all classes of movie fans. A new idea in the old story of love is brought to the front in “Dangerous Innocence.” The third angle m this triangle of love is found in the person of the heroine’s mother, who, at one time, was the sweetheart of the man now loved by her daughter. The possibilities for the making of a great motion picture that are bound ud within such a plot can readily be grasped. In “Dangerous Innocence” thev have been brought out in a most compelling manner and provide Al iss La Plante and Mr. O’Brien with a vehicle that permits them to do some of the best work of their careers There ar e the usual supporting films.
