While negotiating a bend they met a motor lorry, and as they were passing the edge of the road gave way. precipitating the car and the occupants 30 feet down the bank, the car coming to rest against a tree stump. The occupants were shot out through the top of the hood, but all escaped injury, except the two ladies, Mrs Judd receiving severe facial injuries, including a broken nose, and her daughter a severe cut on the leg. Both are in hospital, hut their condition is not serie Xs.
