AFTERMATH OF THE STRIKE.
STRANDED SEAMEN REPATRIATED. (Received 29, 9 a.m.) Sydney, Dec. 29. Practically all the British seamen stranded in Australia as a result of the recent strike have been repatriated. Most of them secured employment on vessels going Home. The Orvieto yesterday picked up sixteen of Sydney’s last contingent of strikers.— (A. and N.Z.)
