OTANE.

(Own Correspondent.) The motor speed ciazc was responsible for anothei’ accident on Saturday evening, which fortunately did not have serious consequence. Seme of St. Hilda’s Home children were crossing lhe small bridge at the head of the Otane road when they saw a car approaching. They turned back and waited at the side of the road for the car to pass, and the car slowed down to let them got off the bridge. Unfortunately the driver of tho next car did not notice this and crashed into the back of the first car. and then capsized over the bank on top of the children. Throe girls wore cut, and bruised very badly, but are now doing all riglijt.. They had a miraculous escape as the car cau]c right on to them.
