FEMINIST ADVANCE.

WOMEN’S CLUBS IN PERSIA. PARIS CONGRESS. London, Dec. IJ. Katherine Bompas, secretary of the International Women’s Suffrage Alliance, told “The Sun’s” special representative that she hoped Australia and New Zealand would be represented at the Alliance’s tenth congress, to be held in Paris on May 30, at which delegates from 36 nations would attend, including, for the first time, Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Persia, where the feminist movement was advancing rapidly and women were running their own clubs and newspapers. The agenda includes the questions of the nationality of married women, family endowment, a single moral standard the fight against traffic in women, unmarried mothers, women police, and the admission of women to, the diplomatic services. — (Sydney “Sun” Special.)
