Barwell savs an Adelaide cable. The deacons of Trinity Congregational Church, Christchurch, have decided to send a call to the Rev. D. Gardner Aliller. of Napier, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of the Rev. H. J. Huffadine. It is understood that the Napier Congregational Church is willing to release Air. Some excitement was caused in Avenue road east yesterday evening, about 7.15, when a man was seen running about the road in his shirt sleeves, waving his arms and behaving in a very eccentric manner. The man who struggled violently, was laid hold of by some mon and forcibly taken to his home, whore he was attended by a doctor. He seemed to have acted under the influence of some sudden mental storm.
