DARGAVILLE RACES. Dargaville, Dec. 19. The second day of the Dargaville races opened in fine but cloudy weather before a large attendance. The course is in good order. Results: Mangauhare Handicap.—Wenday I, Peter Rosa 2, Bute Sound 3. Also started: Irish Jig and Marble Mount. Won by 24 lengths; two lengths between second and third horses. Time, 1.44 3-5. County Handicap.—Just Quietly 1, Dehghtment 2, Comet King 3. Scr.: .Nocturne, Scrap o’ Paper, and King uultifid. Won by a length; three quarters of a length between second and third. Time, 1.17 3-5. President’s Cup. —Sleepy Sol 1, Wenday, Boomerday 3. Also started: Right and Left, Titaness and Piton. Won by half a length; threequarters of a length between second and third. Time, 1.59.
