There are so many comparatively new cars on the market to-day that is is extremely difficult for the new car buyer to sum these cars up, as to their durability, etc. So many of these newcomers are backed up by extensive advertising putting forward all sorts of claims. Many of these new arrivals will “die a natural death” as many before them have done and owners will be left lamenting, as there will be no one to care for the orphan cars, besides the used car value of such cars is so low and spare parts are usually unprocurable. It takes more than a few thousand miles to ready test out a car. as quite ordinary cars will give reasonably good service for the first few months or so. There is no firm in the motor manufacturing business to-dav that ca«» equal the record established hv the Studebaker Corporation of 73 years’ o f vehicle manufacturing experience. 20 of which have been devoted exclusively to the manufacturing of autom b l s. Studebakers’ were the first firm to manufacture a 6-cvlinder mono-blof automobile motor in quantities and built the first 6-cvlinder car in America selling under 2 000 dollars. There are Studebaker cars in service to-dav that have run 500.000 miles and are still reliable.
