INTERNATIONAL BOND ISSUE. BRITISH PORTION SUBSCRIBED. (Received 9, 11.45 a.m.) London. Dec. 8. Ihe English portion of the issue of gold bonds in ihe potash syndicate of Germany was placed on the market in London and closed immediatclv. The issue was £5.060,000 worth of bonds hearing seven per cent interest. The nrice was £941. redeemable at £lo2'- bv 1950. Simultaneous issues of £3.000.000 wore made in Holland. Switzerland and Sweden. The total authorised issue is £15.000.000. The syndicate was formed in 1919 to control the German potash industry, and embra'ces all owners of potash mines.—(Reuter.)
