AUSTRALIAN ART UNION.

ILLEGAL TICKET-SELLING. Dunedin, Nov. 25. Henry Thomas Walker, in the Police Court to-day, was fined 40/- and costs for selling Australian art union tickets in a Melboumo Cup consultation. The police stated that they believed the art union was a fraud. Defendant said he returned the money when he heard the art union was not genuine. Tho magistrate stated that defendant was liable to a fine of £2OO.
