The Navy League’s wreath, encased in ice. has arrived from Wellington, and will be exhibited for four days on the Trafalgar monument, London. The rush to buy rubber shares on the London Stock Exchange yesterday morning resembled a Rugby scrummage as the brokers tried to execute orders. 'Hie demand slackened later and prices eased somewhat.
