Christchurch, Nov. G. 1 The weather was squally for training at Riccarton, a southerly wind bringing a sharp shower of rain. It was au off dav morning and not many horses went fast. .Most of the work was done on the plough. Haze beat Nincompoop over three furlongs in 37 2-5, and Kilfane and Kaiti went a mile in 1.46 2-5. Deucalion did a working gallop over six furlongs on No. 7 track in 1.20 2-5. •March Past ran half a mile in 51 1-5, Fool’s Paradise taking 51 3-5 fo r the same distance, and Kalakaua and Zouave left seven furlongs behind in 1.33. Clareina did three furlomgs on No. 7 track m 39secs. Merry Singer, Sir Fanciful and Red Head galloped a mile in 1.51, and Kukumc and Waetea went a mile and a Quarter, taking 2.15 3-5. Rivalry and Serotina did half a mile in 50 2-5, and Commendation a like distance in 50secs. going practically from a stand. Kilmiss did a working gallop over six furlongs, the Inst three takong 41secs. Polyphemus leit three furlongs behind in 37 3-ssecs.
