DAIRY PRODUCE CONTROL.
AUSTRALIAN BOARD’S POLICY. (Received 10, 11.50 a.m.) Sydney, Aug. 10. At a meeting of the Dairy Produce Control Board, th© policy of the board was outlined as follows:—To improve the organisation of marketing dairy produce in the United Kingdom and the Continent; to open fresh markets; to withhold a percentage of butter and cheese as is deemed necessary; to arrange with the Commonwealth Government for a guarantee of advances; to take action to maintain the identity of Australian produce in retail shops and among consumers. The London agency will co-ordinate with a similar body appointed by New Zealand, when the lujl ‘marketing strength of exportable surplus butter and dieese from both countries wilj. be used for the betterment of selling activities and realisations.
