LONDON PRODUCE MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 17th inst:—
Tallow: We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton 46s per cwt, good beef 46s 3d, mixed 41s 3d ; market, inactive. Butter: New Zealand choicest salted 180 s to 182 s per cwt. unsalted 184 s to 188 s. Cheese: 100 s to 102 s per cwt; market firm. Recent advances assisted by hot weather.
