RESIDENCE Al' MT. EDEN. Auckland, Juno 20. Fire almost entirely gutted an eightroomed house on the Fairview road. Mt. Eden, the residence of John Scansi© and family, during their absence. Th© house was owned by the International Mercantile Company and was insured in the New Zealand office for £l5OO, the Prudential also holding a cover for £5OO. The latter company has a policy on the furniture.
