FIRE AT WELLINGTON.

BUSINESS PREMISES DAMAGED. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Nov. 8. Fire occurred at 226 Lambton Quay at 2.39 a.m. to-day in a building owned by Robert Hannah and insured in the New Zealand Insurance Company for £2,800. The occupants were Abraham Tossman, furrier; Mrs Lucy Katherine Oxspring, ladies’ tailor; and Phiilip Tossman, hairdresser and tobacconist. Abraham Tossman had a policy in the Northern Insurance Co. for £lB7O, Phillip Tossman one in the Sun Office for £llOO, and Mrs Oxspring one in the Commercial Insurance Co. for £5,767. The building and contents were badly damaged.
