HEENEY v. BELGIAN CHAMPION. REFEREE’S “NO CONTEST” DECISION. (Received 5. 12.50 p.m.) London, Nov. 4. A 10-rbund heavyweight contest between Heeney (N.Z.) and Franz Hendrick, Belgian cruiserweight champion, was stopped in tho sixth round, the referee declaring “no contest” owing to continual holding. It was a poor fight. The fewest clean blows were landed by the New Zealander, who was much heavier and repeatedly used, the rabbit punch.—(A. and N.Z.)
