Wellington, Nog. 4. The New Zealand Producers’ Cooperative -Marketing Association has received the following cable, dated London, October 31st: — Butter; Market very slow. New Zealand salted 222/-, Australian 200/-, Argentine unsalted 200/-, Danish 236/- Canadian 190/-, Irish 216/-, ' Siberian 158/- to 184/-. Cheese: Market quiet but steady. New Zealand both colours 95/- to j96/-, Canadian 96/- to 98/-. NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY | (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, Nov. 4. | The directors of the National Insurance Co. have declared a dividend of 2./- a share, which, with the interim dividend of 1/3 paid in May, makes 3/3 for the year. FROZEN MEAT. I The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 31st. October :— I New Zealand Frozen Meat. —Lamb* 12 3-8 d per lb (average); mutton: 1 prices unchanged, (last quotation i 24/1/24): —Wether and maiden owe, I light B|d per lb., heavy 7 7-8 d per lb.; ewe, light 63 7-Bd, heavy 6 l-8d per lb. Market slow. MEEANEE STOCK SALE. Hoadley .Son and Stewart, Ltd., reI norb having held their monthly Meeanee stock sale yesterday, when they offered a good yarding of cattle. Prices were as follow-:—1 fat cow £5 10s, 2 do £4 12s 6d. 1 forward cow £3. 1 at £3 9s. 1 at £3 16s. 1 at £2 8s 6d, 1 at £1 Ils, 1 springing dairy cow £B, 1 at £5 10s, 2 do £3 ss. 2 do £3; cows in profit. 1 at £6 ss, 1 at £3 7s 6d. 1 at £3, 2 yearling heifers 335. 3 at 225, 4 at 30s, 1 at £2. 2 at 21s, 1 at 20s, 1 2-vr steer £3 16s.
