EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
BRISK CLOSING DAY. London, Nov. 1. There was heavy rainfall for closing day at Wembley. Nevertheless a huge crowd arrived early and trade was of the. briskest nature in the various pavilions. The popular programme seemed to be bargain hunting in the morning, and attendance at the stadium during the afternoon to hear the Prince of Walds deliver his address at the closing ceremony and the amusements park m the evening.—.(Reuter).
