SUBSTANTIALLY CARRIED. LITTLE INTEREST DISPLAYED. ' The Napier Borough Council proposals lor loans totalling £147,950 for various works in the thorough were approved of by the ratepayers at a * pod yesterday. The majority in each ' issue was substautial. Out '<# 25(>0 ratepayers’ names on the roll only 815 recorded their vote. Details of the voting are as follows:— Roads, Machinery, etc., £lOO,OOO.
