SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING. (Own own correspondent.) The ordinary monthly meeting of the Takapau School Committee wa s held oh Monday evening. Present: Messrs N. M. Paulsen (chairman). A. J. Oani}>bell (hon. secretary). J Thomsen, W. Cuthbertson, A. J. Norrie. W. H. Edkins and N. R. Nelson. Tho’ headmaster.’s report for the month was read and received. • Accounts for the month wCrb passed for payment. . ‘ Correspondence was received from the Education Board. Alessrs J. A. Norrie and W. H. Edkins were appointed as visiting committee. The Rev. A. E. Hunt, who has a New Zealand reputation as an elocutionist, is arranging to give a series of entertainments in th e Takapau district. the first one taking place in Takapau at an early date-
