AUSTRALIAN CANNED FRUIT.

(Received 29, 9.45 a.m.) Melbourne, July. 29. Official statistics of the output of the canned fruit industry show that in 1923 there were 15 canneries operating under the Commonwealth fruit pool. Thi s increased to 29 in 1924. The piack held by the pool in 1923 was 1,569,687 dozen tins, and increased to 2,059,551 in 1924.
