SAVILLE CUP. WON BY HAWKE’S BAY. Feilding, March 22. The final polo match for the Saville Cup was played to-day between Hawke’s Bay and Rangitikei in perfect weather. The field was in splendid order. The game pro\ed ast and exciting with splendid sluoti g on both sides. Hawke’s Bay ? r lu. proved their superiority and w~n bj seven goals to four. During the game McKenzie, back for Hawke’s Bay. was unseated and his pony trod on his face and his nose was broken. His place was taken in the team by his son. STEAD CUP. Christchurch. March 23. In the first round for the Stead Cup Pareora heat Amuri by 13 goals to four and Christchurch A beat Christchurch B by 13 goals to two.
