PRISONERS SENTENCED AT AUCKLAND. Auckland, Mar. 12. At the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Herdman, William Bradley, middle aged, who had admitted 76 charges, the majority % forgery and uttering, in various districts, was sentenced to three years’ hard labour. The Cr6wn Prosecutor said other charges were to be dealt with at WellingtonJohn Albert Roberts, a young man, for attempted false pretences, theft and obtaining credit by fraud, was sentenced to two years’ hard labour. Austin McCormick, on eight charges of theft from his employers, the Northern Steamship Coy., was sentenced to three years’ reformative treatmentEdward William Heisman, for a false declaration of birth, was lined £l9.
