LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co>, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house: — RANGE OF PRICES.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 14th inst: — As compared with last sales closing rates, prices are higher by about 7} to 10 per cent for coarse crossbred slipe, medium crossbred slipe and medium scoured crossbred; about par to 5 per cent for merino ; about 5 per cent for crossbred lambs, fine crossbred and coarse scoured crossbred; about 10 per cent for coarse greasy crossbred, and from 10 to 15 per cent for medium greasy crossbred. Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house with reference to the wool market:—-Sales have closed with a very firm tone. Compared with present London sales opening rates:— Greasy merino, best descriptions, advanced 5 per cent, medium to good, par to 5 per cent advanced. Scoured merinos, best descriptions, opening rates are barely maintained, medium to good declined 5 per cent, inferior advanced 5 per cent. Crossbred greasy, comeback advanced 5 per cent. Fine, par to 5 per cent advanced, medium and coarse advanced 7j per cent to 10 per cent. Crossbred scoured, par to 5 per cent advanced. Slipe fine crossbred, advanced 10 per cent, medium and coarse crossbred advanced 5 per cent.
