BICYCLE STEALING.
BOY PLACED ON PROBATION. r i- Palmerston North. Nov. 17. s At the Magistrate’s Court a boy was - placed on probation under strict super- '* vision for three years for the theft of p a bicycle. The Magistrate said that 11 had it not been for the accused’s age p ho would have gone to prison owing to 2 the prevalence of such thefts.
