WEDDING OF LADY’ MAUI) MACINTOSH. (Received 16, 2.15 p.m.) London, Nov. 15. Lady Maud Macintosh, widow of Captain Alclntosh and the eldest daughter of the Duke of Devonshire, was to-day married to Evan Baillie, son of Baroness Burton and a director of Bass’s Brewery. The wedding is a sequel to a hunting field romance. The parties are the joint masters of the High Park Harriers. The wedding had been fixed ’for January, but la§t night it was suddenly announced that it would be celebrated *p.t St. Martin’s-in-the-Feilds. London, to-dav. The ceremony was of the simplest character. The bride wore a travelling dress. There were no flowers, music or a recention.—(A. and N.Z.)
