COOPER MURDER CASE.
ECHO IN DIVORCE COURT. Wellington, Nov. 16. An echo of the Cooper murder case was heard in the Divorce Court to-day when allegations of adultery were made against one of the Crown witnesses in that ease- Annie Margaret Jorgensen asked for dissolution of her marriage with Goltfried Anton Jorgensen, a tailor in business here. The marriage took place •in 1915. Respondent went on a trip to Auckland and told petitioner that someone in the train had asked if he could arrange to send a girl to Cooper. In the Cooper case the name of Miss McCormick was mentioned. It was Miss McCormick’s sister that respondent sent to Cooper. Her name was given as McGrath. She worked for Jorgensen. A decree nisi was granted.
