JOYRIDER’S BRIEF CAREER. Christchurch. November 15. At th© Magistrate’s Court William Duncan Mcßae, railway clerk, of Ashburton, was charged with converting to ms own use a motor car left outside a bowling green. Accused drove the car away at a high speed, ran into a gutter, and caused damage estimated at £65. Mcßae pleaded that he was under the influence of liquor. He was fined £lO.
