THE WORKERS’ ASSESSOR. Christchurch, Alarch 5. The candidature of Air Hiram Hunter for workers’ member on the Arbitration Court is regarded by many labour men as almost certain to be successful. Replying to criticism. Air. Hunter gays he was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment on a charge of a breach of the war regulations. However, it was the Act disqualified from holding a political offence and not a crime and a position on the Court only persons who had committed crimes for which the punishment was imprisonment with hard labour for six months or upwards.
