FIRE BRIGADES.
THE DUNEDIN DEMONSTRATION. Dunedin, March 5. The biennial demonstration held by the United Fire Brigades’ Association was continued to-day. The conditions were practically ideal, the sun shining brightly throughout the day and th* wind not being strong enough to interfere with the proceedings. The following are the leading teams in the contests for. the Aggregate and High Pressure Shields : —Aggregate Shield: Hillside Railway. 68. Onehunga 32, Thames 26. Dannevirke 25. Alexandra 24. High Pressure Shield: Hillside Railway 60, Onehunga 32. Thames 26, Dannevirke 25. Alexandra 24.
