FRENCH WARSHIP’S POSTMAN.
MISSING WITH 3000 FRANCS. (Received 8, 10.45 a.m.) Sydney, Jan. 8. The ship’s postman from the French warship Victor Hugo left the ship on Saturday with 3000 francs in French bank notes to forward to France and has not since been heard of.—(A. and N.Z.)
