(1/7 to 1/7 3-4 per lb.). Australian—Salted, finest 176/ to 180/ per cwt. ( 1/6 3-4 to 1/7 1-4 per lb.); unsalted, 182/' to 186/ per cwt. (1/7} to 1/8 per lb.); other qualities, salted 170/ to 174/ peT cwt. (1/6 1-4 to 1/6 3-4 per lb.); unsalted, 172/ to 178/ ]x?r cwt. (1/6} to 1/7 per lb.). Argentine—ls 6/ to 170/ per cwt. (1/4 3-1 to 1/614 per lb.). Danish—Slow; 214/ to 216/ per cwt. (1/11 per lb.). Dutch—2l6/ to 220/ per cwt. (1/11 to 1/11} per lb.). CHEESE. Market remains firm and demand good. English—Finest farmers’, 130/ to 140/ per cwt. (1/2 to 1/3 per lb.); fine. 124/ to 130/ per cwt. (1/1 1-1 to 1/2 p?r ,b -). Canadian—Finest, coloured 126/ to 128/ per cwt. (1/1} to 1/1 3-4 por lb.); white. 126/ to 130/ per cwt..(l/1} to 1/2 per lb.); fine coloured, 124/ per cwt. (1/1 1-4 per lb.); fine white, 125/ per cwt. (l/l| per lb.). New Zealand—Colured 124/ to 126/ per cwt. (1/11-4 to 1/1} per lb.); white. 124/ to 128/ per cwt. (1/1 1-4 to 1/1 3-4 per lb.). Shipments of Zealand produce arrived this week by s.s. Waimana and s.s. Dorset. The quantity of»Australian butter shipped from December 3 to December 13 amounted to 42.978* boxes. WOOL. Bradford market firm tone. 40’s (prepared), coarse crossbred, quoted at 1,2 1-1, others unchanged. TALLOW. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Napier, received the following cable from their head office, London, dated 3rd January. 1923:— Ta110w.—1635 casks of tallow were offered at auction and 965 were sold. Prime beef unchanged. Other descriptions 3d to 6d per cwt. bighef.
